Obituary for Angela Theresa De Blasio

Angela was beautiful woman. Beautiful in outward appearance but most importantly, beautiful on the inside. She was kind, loving and strong. Angela is survived by her mother Jean; her beloved son Vinny, her daughter-in-law Lindsey and her two granddaughters, Evangeline and Juliana. Angela is also survived by her sisters: Theresa and brother-in-law Anthony, Carol & brother-in-law Raymond and Laura. She was also blessed with many nephews and nieces, great-nephews and nieces and great-great nephews and nieces. Some whom she helped to raise.
Angela was an accomplished Mammographer who worked in Lutheran Medical Center for 27 yrs. Angela was a single mom who worked, raised her beloved son, took care of her mother and fostered a foster child; all while overcoming all that life had to throw at her.
Angela had a calm, reassuring manner about her. Always willing to listen and give comforting advice. This special gift was extended outside the family to her son’s friends whom she adopted as her own.
Of all Angela’s accomplishments, too many to write here, the one she cherished the most was watching her son, Vinny grow into an awesome man. Her joy was extended when she was blessed with her granddaughters, Evangeline and Juliana. She cherished being “Nana”.
Angela is at peace now after a long, hard fight. She is in heaven with Jesus. Our very own “angel” to watch over us all!

Angela thank you for being a part of my life. You were kind, humble and strong. You always encouraged me to do more and was always a shoulder to lean on when I felt defeated. I could talk to you about anything and never felt judged. You did not only teach me about work but you thought me about life. It was so beautiful to hear about the love you had for your family. I will miss our laughs. You will truly be missed Ang. Love you!

My beautiful sister Angela, you were the calmest and most caring of us sisters. Our hearts are all broken at the loss of you. You went through life with a laid back ease and a sometimes very dry wit. I can't count how many times I have reached for my phone to talk to you only to realize you are gone. You were truly the calm to my inner storms. The one who told me not to worry and just to be myself. I am missing you every single day as I know I will for the rest of my life. I will keep all the memories we shared of our secrets, tears, laughter, fears, and happiness close to my heart always. I am very lost and heartbroken without you sister, but I know you are at peace and with the rest of the Angels in Heaven. You will be held deep within my heart forever. Love you always and forever, your sister Carol.

My dearest Aunt Ang,

I still can’t believe you’re gone. You were taken from us way too soon... Words can never describe the many emotions felt during these heartbreaking times. I will forever hold onto your memories and treasure your kind heart that you created for our family. You will forever be missed in our minds and loved in our hearts. Rest in the sweetest peace angel. I will love you always🙏🏼♥️

Aunt Ang, it hasn't hit me yet. Nothing could have prepared us for this. You're such an influential person in my life. You've helped raise me and planted so many seeds to grow me into the woman that I am today. You taught me that i could acheive ANYTHING and that i didn't need to depend on anyone for anything. Being a strong and courageous woman yourself, you always have a positive word of encouragement to offer. A true role model. I thank God for you in my life and my only condolence is that you're in the arms of our loving Savior Jesus Christ. Until we meet again face to face you are always in my heart❤
Jesus said to her " I am The Resurrection and The Life. He who believes in me will still live even if he dies. Whoever lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this? " John 11:25
