Francesca Hunt, 94
Staten Island resident and member of St Ann’s Parish, Francesa Hunt passed away on May 12th, 2020 at Staten Island University Hospital. She was 94 years old.
Frances was born in Brooklyn on January 2, 1926 to the late Nick and Maria Guido. She later married Edward Hunt, who proudly served in the US Airforce. She gave birth to two daughters, Helen and Marie, and moved to Staten Island where she lived out the remainder of her fifty years surrounded by her family.
Francesca was a seamstress by trade and widely known for her ability to make everyone in her company laugh. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing cards with her sisters, attending weekly mass, watching the New York Mets, and spending time laughing and cooking with her beloved family.
Frances is survived by her loving daughters, Helen and Marie, her four devoted grandchildren, Michael, Tommy, Lisa, and Nicholas, and three cherished great grandchildren TJ, Tyler, and Christopher. Originally one of sixteen siblings, Frances is survived by two loving sisters, Dora and Isabel, and a loving sister-in-law Angie.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 15th at Colonial Funeral Home. She will buried with her beloved and devoted husband Edward Hunt at Resurrection Cemetery.
