Obituary

Obituary for Giro J. Scotti

Giro "Jerry" Scotti, born March 10, 1925, peacefully departed this Earth on January 1, 2020 at the age of 94. After bravely serving in World War II, Giro became a firefighter for the FDNY and retired as a Lieutenant after more than 30 years. Having been gifted with a beautiful singing voice, he sang in church choirs from an early age, eventually becoming a soloist for St. Charles Parish.
Giro leaves behind his wife of 68 years, Dorothy T. Scotti, his children, Ann Scotti and Richard Scotti and his grandchildren, Danielle Notarmuzi and John Petitto. His family asks that in lieu in flowers, donations be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital which Giro supported throughout his lifetime.

Dottie, Richie, AnnMarie & Family,
There is such an emptiness in my heart today. To know Jerry was to love him. He was such a wonderful part of the Ford’s life. He will always be remembered with the warmest of memories. With a broken heart, I send my love to you all.
