Jean was born on the lower East Side of NYC
In her youth she sang on Italian radio, and had a great love of music.
She learned to play the piano by ear and mastered it beautifully. She worked in her parent’s restaurant as a waitress and met her future husband there.
They married during a leave he had from the army during world war II
They raised their four children in Brooklyn and on Staten Island. Jean’s life was her family. Her joy was her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, music, cooking and baking. She is survived by her 4 children, Louise Paone, Anthony LoRe, Neil LoRe and Christina Moran, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
