Obituary for Rosaria "Sadie" Nuzzo

Rosaria Nuzzo, 87 passed away peacefully at the Devon House surrounded by her family on Wednesday evening at 9:30 p.m., January 8th, 2020, after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease and it's complications. She was born in Sicily, Italy, and immigrated to the United States after her marriage in 1959, to the love of her life, Enzo. She worked as a seamstress and was a homemaker. She always made certain that there was delicious, cooked meal on the table. She is survived by her five children: Joseph, his wife Mary (late wife Paula), Philip, Vincent, his wife Jennifer, Christine, her husband Stephen, Frances, her husband Thomas, 9 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, many loving friends, extended family, and compassionate caretakers.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Vincenzo, her mother Giuseppina, her father Fillipo, brother, Andrew, and daughter-in-law, Paula. She was loved and respected by all those who knew her. She was a woman who was proud and spoke her mind. Her children were her priority and she loved each and every one of them and their families unconditionally. She will be most remembered for her delectable cooking and her unconditional love. She will truly be missed. She is forever in our hearts.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests to please consider a small donation to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
